At an exhibition in Brugge, Belgium, someone remarked I drew form out of light. Thats true in a way as I always keep the focus on the light in my work, though there may be dark parts there for contrast and enhancement. Most of the time I start out with a dark background, add light and color and the form gradually grows out of this.
The artwork always grows in your minds eye, things you notice, little things that suddenly draw your attention, sometimes really in-your-face symbols and shapes suddenly jump out while you have been looking at the artwork for years without noticing - and thus is an accurate mirror reflecting your inner processes.
The Soul Portraits I make are a visualization of a persons highest potential and the frequencies he or she may need as a boost to achieve this. It assists, its not a necessity. But the artwork, its a lifelong companion if you like. You can not say I am a healer I heal this person, you provide a space, an opportunity to get the self-healing mechanism rolling. Same with the artwork : if you allow interaction, it may cause you to do marvelous things. That you already have in you. The main message I want this artwork to radiate is : create your reality in connection with Source, and use your palette, evolve, grow, the essence of life is growth, as soon as a thing completely crystallizes, and I am not talking about crystals now because they are very much alive, its dead. Even the highest of consciousness in my opinion still keeps evolving. There is no ending. A change of form, or phase, or frequency, or perception, yes. Ongoing, everlasting, finding new ways of expression and learning from that, letting go, growing into new awareness, and having fun with that!
They are totally completely and utterly different from each other, I never know in advance what they will exactly look like. I may have a first impression of main colors and highlights, but once its going Im a channel that happens to be able to do this. I do have a definite ending feeling when Its finished.
Its all about resonating with the person and attunement to that soul or collective of energies. I have been doing quite a bit of energy work the last twenty years, in developing it I had some known and less known teachers, Id like to mention Marie Diamond and Slim Spurling, John Armitage, and the Flower of Life workshop. I still do healing facilitating and reading sessions, also at distance, combined with crystal work and Shamballa MDH. Workshops I do are growing in number, some can also be arranged on request.

As a kid I was always looking for the light and dark playing through the foliage of trees, you could see amazing things happening with color and light if you cared to look. Another thing with trees and forests was I had a totally different memory of them as they should be I remembered really vast forests with Yggdrasill like trees and ankle-deep carpets of moss, huge oaks and beams of light falling through the treetops, and massive spaces with emerald and bluish reflected light from the surfaces of ponds. So I had to re-create them, in my imagination, funny thing is the imagery actually gets stronger with the years. Must be some kind of cellular memory rebounding on me, but the place is incredibly beautiful and huge&Very magical, elfin like. Though I havent seen a movie or picture yet that portrays the magnificence of this archetypical forest. Maybe I am recreating something existing in other worlds or the astral realms, who knows, I know I can go there in my imagination which may be a name for a universal reality bank.
Well this one is a reworked version of an earlier Archangel Michael. It gained strength, so to speak , and I sent a copy over to Ronna Herman who really liked it. It has a lot of gold in there, and the blade of the light sword transforms into Michaels body and central pillar of light. It also has very much a guardian quality.
Archangel Zadkiel was the first of those energies to highlight their presence in my artwork and a lot of the archangelic energies have come around the corner since then. They are giant fields of consciousness but do occasionally take on personality traits in our translation or decoding, guess this is a mechanism to enable us to handle this kind of interdimensional communication.
Now this one is still a bit of an enigma, as it started out totally abstract and the face kind of materialized in the whole like its some kind of cherub with a fancy golden filigrane light headdress hovering on the edge of material and energy. I like the agelessness and innocence and at the same time, the eyes look right through you. When I meditated on this one it told me it was a higher self aspect.
Some consciousness forms appear in your life seemingly out of the blue- I got quite a few references of other people that the energy of Red Cloud was with me, and after a while I only could acknowledge it. I like this portrait of him, which is more of an energy portrait than an actual one, radiating the power, commitment and active force that he stands for.
This one is accompanied with quite a story. The symbol thats central is a kind of interwoven hexagram in a circle thats really a sphere if you follow the lines, and encompasses a cube. Its just a little bit further this side of Escher, and on the other side you find sacred geometry. To me its a glyph and a dimension key. After I finally got it right (took me some time to actually be able to draw it) I had it made in silver. Two pieces were made. In 1999, I had the inexplicable urge to go to Salisbury, U.K., and I felt I just had to be there. After arriving there I managed to get on top of Solsbury Hill and bury the silver item there. In the same period of time two very alike crop circles appeared, and 9 months later an existing (?) shaft in Solsbury Hill opened and drew the attention of the local inquirers. The intention of the burial of the silver piece was the reconnecting to some star energies like those of Sirius, the Pleiadians and Arcturus.
I started out doing these paintings in traditional media but not in a traditional way as I was very keen on experimenting with exotic techniques. Eventually I learned how to work in digital media and found it very enriching, I like to work fast when Im at it and squeeze the inspiration right onto the screen. I feel privileged in seeing the different stages of the artwork develop, and sometimes am as surprised as anybody else at the end result. I do have more focus than I used to hold in holding a frequency that I want to visualize, but still allow a tremendous lot just to flow through. I do what I do because I love what Im doing.
